James L. Gibson, CPA/CVA, NC CPA license 26440

Jim’s accounting career started in 1988, working for a manufacturing company in the aerospace industry.

In 1995 he entered public accounting, and in 1999 earned his Certified Public Accountant license.

In 2000, he earned his Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

In 2005, Mr. Gibson left a local CPA firm where he was a Tax Manager, and founded James L. Gibson CPA, P.C. Our rapidly growing accounting firm now provides Accounting, Tax, and Business Valuation services to individual and business clients in the Carolinas and beyond.

Jill M. Gibson

Jill has many titles and she is an integral part of our firm. She is an experienced bookkeeper, and maintains many of our business client’s accounting records using QuickBooks software. She is also an experienced preparer of individual income tax returns, property tax returns, and payroll forms. She is also the firm’s secretary, receptionist, office manager, and marketing manager.

Jill comes to us with much experience in the corporate world. She worked as a Senior Consultant for TeleCheck Services, Inc. for 9 years, and as a Senior Account Manager for NCAS, a third party insurance administrator, for 10 years. While she may not be a licensed CPA, she certainly is an invaluable addition to the firm.
